About

Polipoli Spring State Recreation Area is filled with trails and fabulous woods throughout. Just a few minutes after crossing the first cattle guard, visitors will see ginormous eucalyptus, plum, tropical ash, cypress, China-fir, various conifers, and the ever-present waddle trees.

There are more than 5,000 known species of rust on plants throughout the forest, which is a type of fungi.
