About

The National Saxophone Museum is tucked away on the upper floor of Saxquest, an instrument sales and repair shop. It is a small three-room setup packed with history; American and European antique and unique saxophones on display in each area.

The earliest specimens feature the original Adolfe Sax models from the mid-late 1800s, spanning into the electric and modern era of Selmer Paris innovations. Learn and be inspired by the craftsmanship of these old horns.

Know Before You Go

It is free and open to the public. Be respectful and don't touch the saxes, they're delicate. The sax shop downstairs sends customers up to those rooms, sometimes they are occupied by someone with an appointment. Talk with the staff, they are friendly and knowledgeable. They will guide you through the museum.
