About

The Mini Mundos, or "Little Worlds" theme park in Tlalnepantla, Mexico, is a collection of 38 miniature models of incredible landmarks from around the globe.

The trip begins with the most important monuments in the State of Mexico where the park is located. There are miniatures of the state's Cosmovitral botanical garden, the 16th-century Padre Tembleque aqueduct, and the Satelite Towers highway sculpture. It continues with famous landmarks throughout all of Mexico, such as the grand Bellas Artes Palace in Mexico City, the Biblioteca Central of Ciudad Universitaria, and the lost Aztec city of Tenochtitlan.

Then the trip goes around the world, with a different section for each continent. There are models of the Hagia Sophia, the Sydney Opera House, the Eiffel Tower, and Machu Picchu. A QR code on each of the constructions can be scanned to learn more about the famous site. There is also a miniature train that travels around the park, offering curious facts about each of the buildings, and a replica of Mexico City's Ecatepec cable car, giving a wonderful aerial view of the entire little world.
