Cartoonist Brad Anderson was a native of Brocton, New York. Following his passing in 2015, fundraising began by the local citizens to immortalize Anderson and his famous creation, the newspaper strip character, Marmaduke.
Know Before You Go
Take exit 60 off the New York State thruway, turning left towards U.S. Route 20. Turn left on Route 20 and travel nine miles towards Brocton, New York. The statue is located at the Portland Town Hall on Route 20 on the left.
