Nestled on 108 acres of coastal foothills, the Land of Medicine Buddha is a spiritual haven that combines the Gelug Tibetan Buddhist tradition with the natural beauty of the Santa Cruz Mountains.

The 100,000 Stupa Project is underway and countless gorgeous Buddhist monuments and shrines are located all over the property. Each offers a unique opportunity for meditation and introspection.

Know Before You Go

Hiking trails are open from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Be sure to check out the Enchanted Forest and Eight Verses Pilgrimage Loop while you're there. The 100,000 Stupa Project is open 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sundays

Land of the Medicine Buddha also offers wellness retreats, spiritual programs, and other community events.
