Woodcarver Alexei Ivanovich Rudov isn’t your average sculptor. He’s also a self-made curator of a home-based museum of wooden sculptures.
Mostly consisting of his own work and the work of other local woodcarvers, Rudov’s home museum features wooden sculptures large and small. Some are scary and some are abstract, some are intricate and some are festooned with decay. But one thing is for sure: a lot of love went into this collection, from both artists and its dedicated curator.
