Trollvägen Magic Hill
Gravity seems to fail at this intriguing Swedish attraction.

The world is dotted with places where gravity seems to work in reverse. Sweden’s Trollvägen Magic Hill is one such spot.
While here, if you take your foot off your car’s brakes or place a rounded object on the ground, they’ll appear to roll uphill. But, though the place’s name may suggest it, this isn’t the result of magic.
It’s a gravity hill, the result of an optical illusion. The road slopes down very slightly, though the surroundings play a trick on the eyes and make it appear as though it’s actually moving upward. Travelers on their way to the nearby natural park often stop to see this intriguing “magic” in action.
Know Before You Go
The road is freely accessible, but can be difficult to navigate during the winter.
