About
These once-brilliant rainbow spires, dependent on their holographic surface for aesthetically pleasing effect, are now more a collection of sun-faded white stalks with a small, peculiar art garden base.
This hasn't altogether damaged their air of intrigue however, for their title "Solar Intersections" brings to mind "energy spots" of which paranormal investigators often speak when referring to portals to the Other Side. Their gesture, a reach to heaven, also mimics the light towers used to guide airplanes safely to the tarmac, which makes it fun to indulge the fantasy, especially in light of nearby cornfields, that this piece of public art could be an instrument abetting UFO landings. Let the conspiracy theories commence.
