Help improve Atlas Obscura by expanding Paragon Carousel with additional information or photos.
The Paragon Carousel is a piece of the history of Nantasket Beach. Nantasket Beach once held a popular amusement destination, Paragon Park, which closed in 1985. The carousel building contains a museum dedicated to Paragon Park.
The carousel is not only a piece of Paragon Park history, but part of the history of amusement park rides in the United States. The carousel was built in 1928 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company, which still operates today.
