This lovely little park along the canals is home to an antique carousel from the 1930s. Made by the Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters company, this carousel was originally located at Mountain Park. When the park closed in the late 1980s, people from all over the world offered to buy the carousel but, the park’s owner wanted it to stay in Holyoke.
The carousel is still operational and costs just a few dollars to ride.n In addition to the carousel there is also a small museum with artifacts and stories about Holyoke’s history of producing paper.
