About

Kcymaerxthaere is an art project created by Eames Demetrios. A series of plaques and other markers around the world honor events that have taken place in a parallel universe that, according to Demetrios, "co-exists to some degree with ours.” Most of these installations are bronze or stone plaques inscribed with stories but some are larger, even entire buildings. As of 2021, there are more than 140 sites spread across six continents and 30 countries.

Not far from the linear world's No-Man's-Land Museum, you will find a marker honoring a people who came about that status in a very different way.  The world of Øvret Peltesh gives us a great insight into some of the qualities of Ferylemt, a quality of existence not so familiar to those of us in the linear world. Those who were able to experience life as if they were certain of long life ahead AND also being able to live like there was not tomorrow made up a very short list. This dichotomy made this very spot of land from Kcymaerxthaere a place very few called home.

The dedication of this marker was accompanied by an amazing concert, featuring a performance of Kcymaerica, Sambamba Dier by the OPSU choir. We should also add that the cake seen had the full text of the marker and was devoured quickly. Øvret Peltesh is also one of the markers featured in the not yet complete Mysterious Postcards --which means this story has been sent all around the world.
