About

This incredible horse engraving is just one of many cave impressions found in the Foz Coa Archeological Park. Around 100 panels containing some 5,000 animal engravings are located throughout the park. The horse is among the most impressive, with well-defined features.

Foz Coa is a huge archeological site. Only three sections are open to the public.

These ancient findings earned the park a UNESCO World Heritage designation. The environment of serenity complements the weight of the history you feel here; the stunning views won't disappoint.
