About

Géró Udvar is the home of now deceased artist Géró György. It is constructed in a traditional style and features much of the former artist's work, which is mostly comprised of wooden sculpture and furniture.

His influences are clearly based in a great appreciation for traditional lifestyles and construction techniques, but his application of these traditional forms is unique. It may be difficult to arrange a trip here, as the website is all in Hungarian and all visits seem to be by appointment only. However, they also have occasional events such as outdoor plays and children's workshops, so it is worth looking into.
