Tucked away in the more than 29,000 acres of forest and exotic landscapes is the La Mina waterfall. Accessing this waterfall will require a hike of a little over half-mile. The trek is steep and very narrow along certain sections. Climb down the rocks, swim in the pool at the base of the falls, and splash under the waterfall itself. Depending on the rainfall, the waterfall can be very strong.
Know Before You Go
Currently, the La Mina trail is closed, but is expected to open again towards the end of 2019.
