About

Bette Davis started her movie career in the 1930s and became a film legend over the course of more than 100 films.

She was born in Lowell, MA, on April 5, 1908, and while she only spent her infant years there, the house where she was born has been officially marked for posterity. The Bette Davis house has a large plaque dedicated to her set between the first and second floors of the exterior of the house.

Today, the house has been subdivided into a pair of private residences. It’s a large, pink, two-family Victorian affair, right across from a funeral home.
