About

A whimsical, scrap metal statue located in downtown Mobridge, South Dakota. The structure was designed by local artist John Lopez, whose Kokomo Gallery is in nearby Lemmon.

It features a cowboy riding a giant walleye. The walleye is a species of large fish that is plentiful in the immediately adjacent Missouri River. It is also the official state fish of South Dakota.
