The Vila Flores association is situated in the old industrial zone of Porto Alegre that has been decaying for decades. Since the 1960s, factories and businesses have closed down across the area.
The association came about in 2012 to help revitalize the area and find solutions to combat urban decay. All of its work is focused on improving the quality of life for urban residents and protecting the environment through activities that promote culture, education, entrepreneurialism, and sustainable development.
The inside patio is mainly used as a place for handicraft fairs, shows, and a place for the community to have fun.
