About

This location made famous in The good, the Bad and the Ugly was designed by Carlo Simi. In 2017, a massive restoration effort was undertaken to restore the famed movie set. Those efforts were chronicled in the documentary, Sad Hill Unearthed.

Know Before You Go

The final 2km is along an unpaved road. It isn’t too rough and doesn’t get any worse as it progresses. The road ends right by the cemetery so minimal walking is required.
