About

Constructed during the mid-1990s, the fashion outlets of Las Vegas hoped to capitalize on the city trend of bringing in the entire family to enjoy more than just gambling. One such place was Primm Outlets.

After an ill-fated plan to expand just before the 2008 financial crisis placed store owners in a difficult financial bind until the outlet officially shutdown. A new owner purchased the building and decided to try something to draw in consumers, and that was covering the walls and ceilings with original artwork.

Renamed Prizm Outlets, huge murals, and graffiti cover storefronts and span across the ceiling, while the dim lights create a ghost town feeling. During the off-season, only a few hopeful shoppers seek out Sanithrift, the only store which manages to stay open.
