Not far from Daugavpils in a small village named Moscow (Maskovska) is an old cemetery that has a grave that is marked with an odd phallic tombstone.

Local lore says that it was erected by a widow as a commemoration to his unfaithful husband. This explanation may sound logical. However when a historian began to investigate the story of this tombstone, it was found out that it is to commemorate a 20-year-old virgin girl. How this choice of tombstone came to be is still a mystery.
