North Idaho Trading Company is a quirky little oddity shop prominently featuring a six-foot "mummified mermaid," along with many other interesting taxidermy specimens. Inside, visitors can find a variety of animals such as a lion, giraffe, hippo, and bison to name a few on display.
It's not just animal remains that grace the corners of this shop. There is also a human skeleton on display, along with hundreds of firearms, an antique jail cell, musical instruments, and tons of jewelry.

The shop is located downtown on the corner of Bank and Fifth Street. A full-body albino elk is in the front window so you can't miss it.
