About

Mahurangi Harbour is a little less than an hour north of the city of Auckland. Just travel along  State Highway 1 and you'll find a place steeped in history—both on land and water.

At Mahurangi you can enjoy a peaceful walk while exploring the shore lines. Several walkways lead from the road down to the water. If you are in the area during oyster season, Mahurangi oysters are often abundant and highly coveted.
