This Parisian cafe is the perfect place to pop in and have a cup of tea, a bite to eat, and buy some yarn for your next blanket or socks. The staff here are kind and filled with unheralded knowledgeable of knitting.

If you like handwoven crafts this is definitely the place to visit. Shelves of colorful yarn dot almost every wall. This warm environment is perfect for getting those creative juices flowing. They also have shelves teeming with board games and children’s toys to pass the time as you craft a new sweater.

Update: Per a Facebook post from 2021, L’Oisivethé has permanently closed. Their most recent picture, from October 2021, shows their shop window with a “Fermeture definitive” - “permanently closed” - sign.
