About

This small factory started making windmill pumps in the early 1900s. Now a museum rather than a factory, it contains complete manufacturing tools from that era and has modern touchscreen displays to describe how the machines work.

The Kregel Windmill Factory Museum is a time capsule of early 20th-century shop-type manufacturing. The bookkeeper's desk is the front office is where the daughter of the originator of the factory died.  There are examples of the progression of the types and styles of windmills produced.
