Graf-Ulrich-Bau (Graf-Ulrich-Festival Hall) is situated in Grafenau-Döffingen, a village around nine miles (15 kilometers) west of Stuttgart. The festival hall has been used for dance events, carnival parties, and even sports training over the years. Constructed in 1937, the hall also features a special attraction that has been luring guests inside for decades.
Just under the stage on the main floor, a slide similar to those found on any playground, offer visitors a bit of childhood nostalgia. The slide leads guests down to the basement bar. The slide is a permanent installation at the barn and is only closed during special events.
