About

While there are several dinosaur museums in the fossil-rich state of Montana, only one presents the history of dinosaurs within a biblical context and through a creationist point of view.

The Glendive Dinosaur Museum maintains an impressive collection of 24 full-sized dinosaurs. However, the museum has been surrounded by controversy coming from the scientific community. Throughout the museum, humans, and dinosaurs are presented as having lived side-by-side, with dinosaurs being among the animals that boarded Noah's Ark. The Glendive also purports the belief that dinosaurs didn't vanish millions of years ago, but within the last 6,000 years, completely contrary to many long-held scientific beliefs.

Among the collections is a replica of the Alvis Delk Cretaceous Footprint, a controversial artifact that supposedly shows a fossilized human footprint overlapped by a dinosaur print. Although the views of the museum have been challenged by scientists, the collection of dinosaur bones and fossils are among the most robust in Montana.
