About

The former record holder for the "Oldest Baseball Field in Continuous Use" is used by Little Leaguers in a small Massachusetts city. Fuller Field in the town of Clinton has been used to play baseball every year since 1878. The claim is based on town maps that show the field being in the same location since 1878 and box scores detailing the scores of games played back then. At least one Hall of Fame baseball player played on the field, Tim Keefe.

As with all claims of this type, there has been some controversy over the rightful title holder. Friends of Labbatt Park in London, Ontario claims their field has been in use since 1877, but a flood caused them to move their diamond. In the 2009 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records, Labatt Park replaced Fuller Field as the "World's Oldest Baseball Diamond."
