Opposite the imposing church in Ghajnsielem, not far from the ferry, is a modern, yet ancient village.

What appears to be an abandoned film set, is actually a reconstruction of the village in which Jesus was born. During Christmas and Easter, around 150 actors recreate life as it was centuries ago. Any other time of year, however, the village is empty. 

Know Before You Go

Around a 20 minute walk from the port, but a bus will also do the trick.
