Help improve Atlas Obscura by expanding Estonian Open Air Museum with additional information or photos.
This immersive open-air museum contains a full day’s worth of adventure exploring the history of the Estonian people’s dwellings over the last 200 years.
There are well over 70 buildings around the museum, the village has everything from traditional farmhouses, barns filled with antique tools, produce gardens, a church, and even an active restaurant where visitors can get amazing traditional Estonian food for lunch. There are also a few Estonian kiiged (swings) that multiple people can ride on at once.
Visitors can also rent a bike for an additional fee and ride around the open air site.Â
