When you join one of our trips, we want you to have peace of mind. In response to COVID-19, we’ve:
Lose yourself in mysterious desert landscapes and unique artistic realms on this privately guided experience led by a local art historian. We’ll take you behind the scenes at artist studios, meditate inside a hand-carved cave, and expand our psyches in the House of Eternal Return. Come explore the flourishing art scene, intriguing cultural heritage, and magical setting that have captivated artists from Georgia O’Keeffe to Judy Chicago. We'll introduce you to unique access and unusual insights that will make it clear that the City Different more than lives up to its nickname.
For a day-by-day itinerary description, either inquire with us directly or visit the group trip page, here. Note that the itinerary's pacing and inclusions may be adjusted depending on the size of your group.
The starting per person price is based on five nights at The Parador, a 200-year-old farmhouse in the heart of downtown Santa Fe, offering a variety of rooming configurations. If you're interested in a different level or style of accommodation, we'd be happy to discuss options and price points.
Travelers should feel comfortable walking two to three miles over the course of each day, outside in the sun. We are happy to tailor the pace and activity level to your group.
We’ll depart for our welcome dinner from El Parador Bed & Breakfast at 6 p.m. on Day 1. El Parador is located in downtown Santa Fe, roughly an hour from Albuquerque International Airport, or 20 minutes from Santa Fe Regional Airport. You’re welcome to arrive and check in at El Parador after 3 p.m. on Day 1. We recommend arriving no later than 5 p.m. Our trip will conclude on the morning of Day 6. Check out from El Parador is at 11 a.m. You can make arrangements to fly out of Santa Fe or Albuquerque or you're welcome to stick around in Santa Fe and explore the city on your own.
Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated. Let us know your restrictions ahead of time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org so we can work with your trip leader to make arrangements.
Your participation helps support Santa Fe’s creative economy. By engaging with artists and artisans from different backgrounds, you're also helping to recognize northern New Mexico’s various cultures, histories, and narratives. You can increase your impact by sharing the stories of your experiences here, and, if you wish, by purchasing art during the trip.
