The Eternal City is full of secrets. Beyond the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain is an even more wondrous and mysterious metropolis. Join us as we go beneath Rome’s streets and behind its locked doors to explore hidden and overlooked places, witnessing a capital city that most tourists rarely experience—strange, magical, and filled with intrigue. We’ll have unique access to restricted crypts and catacombs, a private palazzo and a cabinet of curiosities. We’ll shine a spotlight on the surprises scattered above and beneath the city, revealing a side of Rome that you’ve never seen before.
The cost of this trip is $3,425, based on double occupancy.
You’re in good company. Solo travelers typically make up about half of our small groups. With curiosity at the center of our experiences, there’s a natural camaraderie that develops over the course of a trip. We have two options for you:
Shared Room: You’ll be matched with another solo traveler of the same gender.
Private Room: Have your own room, subject to availability, for a supplemental cost of $725. When booking, please select the single room package option.
Travelers should be comfortable staying on their feet for long stretches at a time, and walking anywhere between two and four miles over the course of each day. Most days, we'll be out and about with time to rest at lunch and dinner, both of which will take place on the later side.
You should aim to arrive in Rome on Day 1 by 4 p.m., and depart anytime on Day 7. If you decide to extend your stay, your guides will be more than happy to suggest additional activities for you.
