About

Located in the Jerusalem hills, Saba's Little Museum is a Jewish museum like none other, collecting seemingly forgotten items and using their story to relate tales of the Jewish people.

Crammed in a small cluster of warehouses, the proprietors of Saba's Little Museum collect all manner of memorabilia, junk, and old appliances. Here is a children's toy car, there is a wall of vintage radio sets that one might recall from growing up in the 50's, and piled in from of that, some rusted steel cooking funnels and barrels. Through these pieces of ephemera, the museum hopes to provide a living history of the area and its people through their materials. The owners will provide visitors with stories, travelogues, both personal and cultural using the pieces as jumping off points as well as examples.

While most museums and collections look to catalogue and preserve things from ancient times, Saba's Little Museum revels in the smaller things and the history that their nostalgia preserves.
