About

In the back room of Glitch Gifts and Novelties, a popular novelty shop in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, you'll find a small but sufficiently strange museum of oddities.

Called Glitchy's Oddities Museum, the room is full of bizarre curiosities: a haunted doll, a first generation cast of a Bigfoot footprint, shrunken heads, a Fiji Mermaid and more. It’s a small collection, but worth a visit.

The Oddity Museum opened in October of 2018 after the retail store moved to its current, larger location on 33rd Street. It's free of charge, part of owner Mike Erman’s goal "to keep Saskatoon weird and wonderful."

Of course, the displays will also likely help attract customers to the shop. Billing itself as “the worst store ever,” Glitch Gifts and Novelties is actually a treat to peruse, thanks to the sheer amount of absurd, nostalgic, and out-of-the-ordinary items it stocks, many of which can't be found anywhere else Saskatchewan.
