What We’ll Do

What's sometimes charming, sometimes gruesome, but always interesting? The supernatural cats of Japan. Join author and folklorist Zack Davisson for a live chat about the spooky felines. He'll illuminate the mysterious realm of kaibyō (supernatural cats) with dozens of ukiyo-e prints from his namesake book, Kaibyō. Cat lovers and Japanophiles alike won't want to miss this in-depth exploration.

We stand with Asian American and Pacific Islander communities and condemn racism and racist violence in all its forms. In an effort to support AAPI communities, all of Atlas Obscura's proceeds from this experience will be donated to Stop AAPI Hate.
