What We’ll Do

In this five-part seminar, learn how to craft garden-fresh mixed drinks and cocktails inspired by traditional techniques.

Course Description

From sparkling English floral champagnes and French ratafias to wintry gin fruit punches, all kinds of cocktails and concoctions can be crafted from fresh fruits, nuts, and vegetables year-round. Join Anistatia Miller and Jared Brown of Mixellany for a hands-on workshop in the art of making slow drinks grown from your garden, farmers’ market, or local greengrocer. Over the course of five sessions, you’ll learn how to create berry-infused spirits, fruit wines, herbal syrups, and more—using leftover ingredients to make chutneys, jams, and butters. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to design and concoct a slow drink of your own.
