What We’ll Do

Join Los Angeles River experts Kat Superfisky and Lila Higgins as we explore the hidden wonders of the Los Angeles River—from pocket parks and a secret love-lock bridge to Leo Limon’s graffiti river cats and a hidden heron mural. Bound in concrete, it is easy to understand how many people disregard the Los Angeles River. Despite harsh judgments, the river is brimming with plant life and critters galore, not to mention fascinating history.

Where We’ll Be

During this tour, we'll learn about the river’s tumultuous past, talk about changes in the community, and explore issues facing the people and wildlife that call the river home. In a constantly evolving city like Los Angeles, what does the future hold for this misunderstood, fascinating body of water?
