Poems from the Deep: An Introduction to Scrying With Eliza Swann
In this two-part lecture series, dive into the history and practice of the ancient art of scrying, divination through reflective surfaces and transform your insights into creative expression.
Course Description
Dive into the mysterious world of scrying, a time-honored divination technique that has fascinated seekers for centuries. Rooted in the Old English word descry—meaning "to glimpse or reveal"—scrying invites you into a trance state where visions emerge from the depths of reflection. In this immersive lecture series, we’ll explore the rich history of this ancient practice and guide you through its modern application.
Led by Eliza Swann, you’ll learn to craft your own scrying vessel that will serve as your portal to hidden insights. Whether you’re seeking guidance, creative inspiration, or just curious about the mystical, scrying offers a window into the unknown. You’ll use this ancient divination technique to develop tools and techniques for finding guidance as well as creative inspiration for writing and visual art.
No previous experience is necessary—this course welcomes both curious beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. Come ready to explore, connect, and tap into the unseen forces that guide us.
