What We’ll Do

The food of Ghana has a flavor and culinary feel that's all its own, and we're here to help you bring those flavors into your own kitchen wherever you are!

During this one-hour live digital experience, chef and author Zoe Adjonyoh, founder of Zoe's Ghana Kitchen, will walk us through the history, joys, and surprises of the Ghanaian pantry. We'll look at a brief history of Ghanaian foodways, dig into some specific single-origin ingredients and spice blends, and finally look at ways to Ghana-fy your pantry, showing you staple ingredients from West Africa that you can add to your own kitchen.

Don't miss this one-of-a-kind chance to bring some incredible new flavors from West Africa to wherever you are!

This experience is part of Gastro Obscura At Home 2022, our very first online culinary festival, presented exclusively for Atlas Obscura Membership subscribers. Join us on Saturday, July 23rd, for an entire day of live online events featuring expert chefs, best-selling authors, curious cooking, AO giveaways, and more!
