What We’ll Do

In this 3-part seminar, learn how to transform your windowsill, deck, terrace, rooftop, or yard into an edible oasis.

Course Description

Regardless of where you live, you can turn small indoor and outdoor spaces into abundant gardens and stunning sources of fresh food. Join Annie Novak for a three-part intensive on the fundamentals of container gardening—covering everything from selecting containers, growing media, and plants to the basics of garden design. You’ll have the chance to workshop your own planting plan or improve an existing garden with simple but effective methods for growing a robust harvest of vegetables and herbs. You’ll also learn how today’s garden technology—including sprout trays, aerofarms, hydroponics, and grow lights—could be used to improve your harvest. By the end of this course, you’ll have a fully mapped container garden, and depending on your goals, the foundations of the garden itself, as well as access to resources for long-term care of your plants.
