There are few things quite as enchanting as the glowworm caves in Waitomo, New Zealand. Walking through these caverns is an incredible experience; the luminescent worms light up the walls and create dazzling starscapes that seem to be the product of magic (as opposed to glowing worm butts). 

The above video is a stunning time lapse that succeeds in recreating that very experience. Its creator, Jordan Poste, spent 60 hours filming in the caves in order to obtain the footage.
