Warley Town, a historic village in the Calder Valley, sits quietly on the outskirts of Halifax, West Yorkshire. The disused BT telephone box was officially opened as Warley Museum on Saturday October 8, 2016. Situated in the centre of Warley village, at the Maypole Inn, the museum’s exhibits of local history artifacts and curiosities, donated by Warley residents, are changed every few months. 

Know Before You Go

Opening hours are 8am-4pm. 
To the village of Warley Town, on the outskirts of Sowerby Bridge or Halifax:
Train to Sowerby Bridge Railway Station, then a 5 min taxi ride or a 20 minute uphill walk
Train to Halifax Railway Station, then a 10 min taxi ride
Bus from Halifax Bus Station, no. 546, hourly service, 20 minute journey
