A subdivision of The Museum of Preienai in Lithuania, the Museum of Historical Memory opened in 2008 and houses an exhibit of Lithuanian partisan, Juozas Luksa–Daumantas.

After World War II, Luksa-Daumantas was a prominent leader of the Lithuanian partisans, working to resist Soviet Occupation. Several historical documents are on display at the museum, like photographs and books by local authors that detail Luska-Daumantas’s heroism during Post-War Lithuania. The exhibition also talks about his brother who was another crucial member of the partisan movement.
